The IBM Component of EU4LEA Project, pursuant to sub-activity 4.1.2 of the first Work Plan “Field visits to major Border Crossing Points to monitor and assess implementation of legislation and regulatory framework”, organised a field visit to the Border Crossing Points with Montenegro, under Shkodra Local Border and Migration Directorate, on 11-12 October 2022.
The purpose of the visit was to see and discuss on issues relating to regulations and procedures, infrastructure, equipment, human resources, workload, training needs and other issues of interest for border police.
Meetings were organised with the Director of Shkodra Border and Migration Directorate, the chiefs and employees of the BCP in Muriqan, Hani i Hotit, Grabom and Vermosh, sharing information about the work performance and some concerns and needs of the border and migration police in that region.
