The IBM Component of EU4LEA Project finalized the field visit to the Border and Migration Local Directorate in Durres and Vlore and the Border Police Station in the Port of Durres, the Port of Vlore, the Port of Saranda, Delta Force in Radhimë and the Border Crossing Point in Qafë Bote, on 05 -07 December 2022.
Meetings were organised with the respective directors and chiefs of border sectors and chiefs of stations and employees of border structures. Discussions were focused on issues relating to procedures, infrastructure, equipment, human resources, workload, and training needs. An assessment report with recommendations is being prepared and it will be shared with the beneficiary, which will serve as a guideline for further steps in the future.
