EU4LEA Project, in close cooperation with ASP Border and Migration Department and Albanian Coast Guard, organized a five-day training activity focusing on Search and Rescue (SAR) Operations at sea and First Aid, on 09 – 13 October 2023.
The purpose of this training was to enhance the knowledge and expertise of blue border police employees on search and rescue operations at sea and how to provide first aid to people in distress who are exposed to dangers at sea.
The training took place at Border and Migration “DELTA” Special Unit in Radhimë, Vlorë. It was attended by 30 blue border police employees assigned as crew members in police vessels and Jet Ski riders. The training was conducted by Albanian Coast Guard instructors with in-depth knowledge and long experience in this field and medical doctors for First Aid procedures. The EU4LEA Project will continue supporting ASP Border and Migration Department in improving practical and professional skills.
