EU4LEA Project organised, from 17th – 19th of October 2023, a work visit to Vienna for high officials of ASP Border and Migration Department with the purpose of exchanging experience and best practices on the IBM risk analysis model, structuring of platforms of communications for transmitting and exchanging information between different border police structures involved in risk analysis, and the functioning of the National Coordination Centre (NCC) for IBM, as well as it was discussed on potential investigation cooperation on cross border crimes. The ASP delegation was received by their counterparts in the Austrian Ministry of the Interior, the police structures at International Vienna Airport, the Austrian National Frontex NFPOC, Joint Operation Office (JOO) Vienna and the Joint Coordination Platform (JCP) and introduced to further structures and functioning of units dealing with the above topics.
