EU4LEA project training on dynamic surveillance for SPAK/NBI and ASP.

A two-week training, basic module on dynamic surveillance and shadowing for NBI investigators, organized by EU4LEA in cooperation with the ASP and SPAK/NBI at Police Security Academy, kicked off on Monday.
The training on the job session aims at improving the NBI capability to operate in the field in order to gain full independence in carrying out highly sensitive investigations that fall under the scope of the NBI activity. EU4LEA experts have been recruited from EU member state top investigative units, namely the Special Operational Group from Carabinieri Corp. Consequently, participants will gain practical and theoretical knowledges from the highly specialized skills and capacities of the EU4LEA experts.
Experts from the ASP – Special Operation Force Directorate are joining the training session as well in order to offer advisory support to EU experts on the Albanian operational context and to discuss future advanced coaching session aimed at the SOF surveillance team.
On the starting day of this valuable training, the Chief Special Prosecutor – Director of SPAK, the Director of the NBI and representatives from the ASP welcomed and commended the activity and wished that similar initiatives are designed and supported by all parties in the future.
