‘’Improved interagency coordination for effective international cooperation in line with national Integrated Border Management Policies.’’
The activities envisaged under the aforementioned outcome aim at strengthening the Integrated Border Management capacities of ASP as well as the involvement of all other competent agencies operating in this area. The action will support improvement of the legal and regulatory framework and relevant by-laws and procedures for a further approximation with EU Acquis. In close coordination with FRONTEX, the Action will assist Border and Migration Police Department (BMPD) in developing and implementing operational/working procedures and in preparing and implementing trainings. Assistance will be provided to establish a dedicated BMP training curriculum and providing specific trainings on anti-corruption measures and investigations, further improve police cooperation regarding combatting migrant smuggling and trafficking.
