The Ministry of Interior hosted a high-level consultation meeting with international donors, organized under the EU4LEA project. This event underscored Albania’s commitment to implementing comprehensive reforms in home affairs as part of its ongoing journey towards EU membership. The Ministry’s policy mandate covers crucial areas such as combating organized crime, corruption, human trafficking, terrorism, and violent extremism, along with enhancing judicial cooperation, integrated border management, and addressing illegal migration and unfounded asylum claims.
