Pursuant to the first Work Plan, the IBM Component of EU4LEA Project organised a field visit to the border crossing points with Greece and North Macedonia, under Gjirokastra and Korça Border and Migration Local Directorates, on 01-03 November 2022.
Meetings were organised with the director and the chief of border sector of Gjirokastra Border and Migration Local Directorate (BMLD) and the chief of border sector of Korça BMLD. Other meetings were held with chiefs of stations and employees of the BCP in Kakavija, Tre Urat, Kapshticë, Tushemisht, Qafë Thanë, where it was discussed about issues relating to procedures, infrastructure, equipment, human resources, workload, training, and other issues of concern.
