Component 2 – ‘’Improved crime prevention capacity through community policing.’’
The activities envisaged under this component include strengthening public order and security through community policing approach. The action will provide support both, at central and local level, by mentoring and advising, drafting of relevant strategies focusing on intelligence gathering, performing risk assessment and analysis, reinforcing intelligence-led-policing, providing relevant trainings on prevention and investigation of gender-based violence, promoting collaboration and sharing of information between criminal police and traffic police and providing specialised training courses and ToT for the traffic police officers.
