A key milestone in this effort was reached with a focused initiative to provide practical tools and strategies aimed at improving the investigation of these offenses, aligning with Albania\u2019s EU integration process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 9, 2024, a round table discussion was held with key stakeholders thanks to the support of the Security Academy. This event focused on discussing the progress made in tackling environmental crimes, as highlighted through the project assessment report, and identifying solutions to any remaining challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EU4LEA project remains committed to supporting Albania\u2019s law enforcement agencies in strengthening their capacities to investigate and prevent environmental crimes, ensuring that Albania is well-prepared for future challenges as it moves closer to EU accession.
